IN CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes!
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Good god yes. This poor creature is not likely to initiate but they might if they think they're protecting someone else.
RELATIONSHIPS: Open for business but likely to be...not closed off at first but someone might need to teach Jean that caring for others is socially acceptable.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Jean is not inherently psychic or psionic and does not have special defenses against mental intrusion (though see below); that said, this poor bastard has seen man-made horrors beyond A. their comprehension and B. usually the comprehension of their creators, victims, and also selves. Contact me if you're gonna go diving and we can plot something neat!
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Oh boy, buckle in. Most of this information will, deliberately, change or bend for whatever game(s) Jean is apped to, but this is the baseline from which variations are made.
Assistant Librarian: Jean's physical form is composed of the Light which powers the Library at which they are employed. In almost all ways they're a physical human person; they eat, drink, and sleep, they bleed, you can touch them and sense their mind, all of that. However, Jean's current skill set and equipment is determined by the Page they're wearing. Do they have something from a cowboy? Meet Cowboy Jean and their lasso skills. Have they instead donned Neo from The Matrix? Maybe expect some cut-rate telekinesis and kung fu. Are they wearing Shrek? They have layers now. Jean cannot change Pages on the fly, and requires access both to the actual physical Pages and time to doff and don them. If they're being Cowboy Jean for an event and aliens attack or something, they're a cowboy for the whole alien attack until or unless someone can get them the cover needed to change.
Warrior of the City: The martial arts of the City get a bit...intense. Jean can parry bullets and less tangible attacks (Lovecraftian shrieks, mind lasers, fireballs, just to grab some examples from their canon). They still need to actually execute the parry correctly, and of course the Page they're wearing will influence how successful such a move can even be (i.e. it's easier to parry if they're, say, wearing the Green Knight than it's going to be if they're currently wearing a barista).
Emotion Level: As a situation gets more emotionally intense, Jean gets second winds, recovering from exhaustion but not wounds. In their canon this is used in combats but I'm extending it to other situations here (square dances, sex, running from the Indiana Jones boulder) both as a logical extension and 'cause I think it's funny.
Death Animation: Jean's body explodes into flying pages of light when they die. Their currently worn Page can then be picked up from where they fell, along with any 'real' objects Jean was carrying (that is, a sword generated by a swordmaster Page vanishes with the body, but a cell phone given to them as part of the setting will hit the ground).
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Jean lives and dies like a human being; examinations of their physiology may turn up signs of lifelong food insecurity (only recently corrected), minor cybernetic augmentation, and superhuman reflexes. Whatever's going on in Jean's nervous system, humans aren't supposed to live like that. Jean's pupils do not dilate and their night vision is therefore shit.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Magical birds. Ask them about it when they're drunk and you may get a Tale.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: Jean's a relatively short kinda person, 'round five-five in boots, with short and rough-cut black hair, but their most defining feature is just. The resting slasher face. Jean's neutral expression is wide-eyed with a toothy grin; legitimately that's where their face goes to rest, not helped by whatever medical condition they have that stops their pupils from dilating. They're perfectly expressive once you talk to them! Friendly even! They make normal human expressions! And yet, the face.
AURAL: Jean makes your usual human noises but they do tend to have volume control issues due to enthusiasm.
OLFACTORY: Jean's scents are curiously neutral; though they make usual human scents (they sweat, they cry, they can bleed), there's a...secondhand quality, to them, as if the scent in question was a well-made perfume rather than a biological process.
DEMEANOUR: Jean is protective, enthusiastic, and bombastic. They tend to laugh wildly in the face of danger, and in other situations still tend to leap in with both feet. They have an odd combination of confidence and servility; Jean will kick the ass of any task you assign them (they claim), but, uh, can you assign them a task please?
